Seems like good karma to balance out the TDR thread with one about stuff that's made you happy!
I got a call this morning to say that I can start my trial shift on friday, working in the kitchens of our local cupcake shop! Major happies~
Then I managed to get an audition with our uni's singing instructor, so if I get one of the last 2 spaces then he should be able to help me with my volume problem XD

It's Swinkys on Park street ^^ know it? I live literally 3 doors up from it now, good thing I'm so close, my shift starts at 7am!

We finished work early today... and had a good day, which makes up partly for the horribleness that was yesterday, XD XD
Also... we put the heating on today... YAY WARMTH!!! XD XD

My Mum cooked an amazing dinner of chicken breast wrapped in pancetta, and I had a metric shedload of runner beans to go with it.
Shoddy day was perked up by that and Gary Sinese as Detective Mac Taylor. CSI: NY ftw <3

Since Ame I've kinda lost passion for cosplay, first time I haven't really felt the urge to do it or make anything costume-wise
Decided today though, my new mannequin is set up and I have a ton of leftover fabric, gonna make myself some nice winter dresses and cute hoodies and things instead! :3 yay
Gonna spend my time and money on things that I can wear on a daily basis, be comfy in and generally look awesome~

My brother got a new job! EPIC!happy, as he's been so darned depressed at his last one. Also? I got treated to a yummy Caffe Nero chocolate milkshake. NOM!

Sorry for double post, just balancing out for my rant XD
Had my trial shift in the kitchen of the cupcake shop today, so much fun! I can tell that on my own in there it will be busy, but I think it'll be ok if I get the job, I can imagine I'll stay pretty enthusiastic!
Today I made a ridiculous amount of cupcakes! I made 24 vanilla, 24 chocolate, 24 spiced pumpkin, 24 banoffee, 12 white chocolate and horseradish, and 12 parsnip and maple syrup ^^ then I finished up my shift by making some Rocky Road~
After my shift I treated myself to Nandos, some episodes of Dexter and a long nap.
Good times!
